Bio
With over 12 years of experience in the IT Industry, Jon Joyner has been with ATA Technologies since 2008. On January 1st, 2014, Mr. Joyner became a Partner with ATA Technologies.
In 2011, Mr. Joyner earned his Bachelor of Science in Business (B.S. Professional Studies) with a concentration in Project Management which provides students with superior project and organizational management expertise and professional development. In 2013, Mr. Joyner earned his Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Union University.
Mr. Joyner also holds the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
Mr. Joyner’s areas of specialization include: High Availability Solutions, Virtualization, SSAE16 Audit, Cisco, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, PCI Compliance, Designing Secure Systems, and Disaster Recovery Planning.
Daniel Simons
Partner, Tier 3, Security
Bio
With over 12 years of experience in the IT Industry, Mr. Simons has been with ATA Technologies since 2006. On January 1st, 2017, Daniel became a Partner with ATA Technologies.
Mr. Simons obtained his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Freed Hardeman University in 2005 and his Master of Science in Information Assurance (MSIA) with Honors from Capital College in 2011.
Mr. Simons holds the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator: Messaging (MCSA+M), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), CompTIA A+
CompTIA Network+, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

Michael Laffoon
Managing Partner, Sales
Bio
Mr. Laffoon founded Trinity Solutions in 2002 as an IT Consulting Firm providing technology solutions to West Tennessee businesses. In 2007 Trinity Solutions underwent a successful merger to form ATA Technologies and expanded its staff, reach, and services to a wide range of industries. Mr. Laffoon has over 20 years of experience in SMB and enterprise Information Technology management.
Mr. Laffoon obtained his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Business Administration, and Mathematics from Union University in 1997. Mr. Laffoon has also obtained a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.
Today, Mr. Laffoon participates in the overseeing of the day to day operations, sales, and client relations for ATA Technologies. He also serves as one of the technical leads in the IT Auditing services for the organization which includes: HIPPA Meaningful Use Auditing, SSAE16 Auditing, and SOC (1&2) Auditing.

ATA Technologies, LLC was founded in 2004 as Trinity Solutions, LLC. In 2007, we merged with local accounting firm Alexander Thompson Arnold CPAs to form a strong partnership and expanded our reach.
